Results from the linear model 2b suggest that males and ethnically Dutch emerging adults report higher frequencies of binge drinking during the past year than respectively females and those from Moroccan or Dutch Antillean background. Higher educated emerging adults also report more frequent binge drinking. As in previous studies, we also find a significant association between intensive work and the frequency of binge drinking in the current sample, but only when respondents indicate they are no longer in school.
